Children Keep Smiling Through!
Our children of key workers marked this month’s VE day celebrations by learning the words to some of the nation’s well-known wartime-era songs.
Their rendition of We’ll Meet Again can be seen in the video below. A song whose lyrics are all the more relevant and poignant as the children continue to experience school without the majority of their classmates around them. In the video you’ll see them waving flags and wearing hats they made themselves, using an assortment of different materials to render the colours, including painted matchsticks, coloured feathers and sparkly pipe cleaners.
