World Book Day 2021

On Thursday 4th March, it is World Book Day. On this day, Mr Martin is going to attempt a Readathon of truly epic proportions.

Mr Martin is going to spend the entire school day from the moment the school starts at 8:45am until the gates are closed at 3:25pm reading out loud and online to anybody who cares to listen! That's a whopping 400 minutes of non-stop reading, with no breaks - if he can help it!

You'll be able to tune in via a special video link posted here to check in on his progress throughout the day. He'll be reading a whole host of stories, some long, some short, some funny, some sad so that no matter what time you tune in, you'll be able to hear something new - all provided his voice (and bladder) holds out for nearly seven hours.

Why is he doing this? Well to celebrate World Book Day of course, but also to raise funds for new books for the school. He's aiming for £400 in 400 minutes to be raised. You can help reach this target by logging on to our fundraising page at: https://www.give.net/JohnKeble400minutes

Don't forget to check in with him during the day.
