Many pupils in Year 5 came to school at the beginning of this half-term in either in a futuristic or historical outfit to celebrate our topic launch for our 'Time Machine' theme. 

Some children made head pieces, gadgets and accessories themselves upcycling or using reusable materials. Some 'futuristic' children could explain their yet to be invented technology and others had researched specific historical figures and shared information about them. In Year 5's first history lesson, we looked back over previous historical periods studied and ordered them on a timeline before placing the Ancients Greeks who we will be studying in more depth this half-term! This certainly got excitement, discussion and creativity started! Well done Year 5.
