Year 2 have been learning about the UK. We learnt about England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and their flags, symbols and saints. We wrote to the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan and told him what we did and did not like about living in the capital city. Then we used Google Earth to view London with a bird’s eye view; we learnt about human and physical features and made our own 3D models of London out of “junk”!
