This summer’s John Keble Poetry Slam saw all the classes competing once again,

To the wacky wrestler, pay no heed, for our wonderful children are the real stars indeed.

 

There were poems about bugs, plants and daily chores,

I can’t decide which poem I really liked more.

 

After lots of maths, it was Yew who took 1^st place,

Followed closely by Lime and Poplar with grace.

 

From the big kids, the Year Sixes took the top spot,

Looking at the results though, it wasn’t by a lot.

 

A big thank you to all the parents for your unwavering support!

And a big well done to all the children! So well you all fought!
