Creative Learning!
Year 6 have been learning about light. We have learned that light travels in straight lines and that the Moon isn’t actually a light source (it reflects light from the Sun)!
We made our own periscopes and investigated which materials were the best reflective surfaces. We found that tin foil was a poor reflective surface because it isn’t smooth and so the reflection goes in lots of different directions. Mirrors were the best because they are smooth and therefore reflect a clear image.
