In recognition of our continuing bid to aid the improvement of the environment and safer travel in the community, the school has been awarded with the Gold star from the TFL. To win this award, the children from the school took part in a series of events from Shoesday Tuesday, Be Bright, Be Seen, cycle maintenance with Dr Bike workshops and even patrolling the streets for traffic violations. Junior Travel Assistants (JTAs) were appointed in the school to help promote these activities, to work in partnership with charities such as Sustrans and to provide educational experiences like the smoothie bike.
