On Friday 7th March we had an associate professor from the University of Birmingham who delivered a workshop to parents regarding the dangers faced by primary-aged children and teenagers online. This workshop used the very latest research findings of primary-school children in the Harlesden area and is a truly eye-opening insight into the apps, workarounds and traps that many children are navigating. Dr Anna Lavis is one of the world's leading specialists in this area and has recently advised Meta, (What's App, Facebook & Instagram), NSPCC, The Samaritans, the Metropolitan Police and the UK Government.
