Our Vision

Rooted together in love, growing without limits...

Believing in the worth of every individual, we are a nurturing, Christian sanctuary of learning, where all can flourish. We aspire for everyone to achieve heights of success, to deepen courage and to experience breadth of creativity, knowing the joy of God’s love.

Our new school vision has come out of a wide stakeholder consultation in 2018. Our community felt strongly that we are a school that embraces relationships, is inclusive, accepting, a place of safety, trustworthy, creative and a place where all can flourish.

Our vision is based on the Bible verse Ephesians 3: 17-19 

 ‘So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.'

John Keble is a unique school, a Church of England school with a strong Christian ethos. We aim to replicate his love and help his kingdom break out through every choice we make, big and small. We are  committed to ensuring that each student is known as an individual, develops the knowledge, skills and personal qualities to lead successful and fulfilling lives, and is empowered to do so.

As a community we want to be the very best school for our students, one which ensures that each student experiences a challenging learning journey.

We work together to create a reflective, creative and vibrant atmosphere in which all our students may thrive.

Our community is based on strong relationships that are built, maintained and celebrated. This also means that when conflicts arise, differences are discussed openly and relationships are repaired.

The school was founded over 100 years ago by the Sisters of the Church with the aim of providing local children with a good education based on Christian principles.

We seek to perpetuate the Sisters’ vision by applying these founding principles daily and by ensuring that the children know they are loved, unique and special.
